Exploring the art scene in LA

Category: DestinationsMegan Leader @ 07:27

Los Angeles is an inspiring city full of creatives, so it's no wonder that this metropolis is brimming with innovative art and design. When we revamped our travel42 Los Angeles guide a few weeks ago, I couldn't help but be drawn to these venues. Our favorite restaurants in Miami

Category: DiningMegan Leader @ 03:51

It seems that most of the U.S. is experiencing chilly weather this week, and I know I'm not the only one pining for sunshine and sandy beaches. Miami is a city of culinary innovation, and with the South Beach Wine and Food Festival approaching in late February, visitors this time of year have more dining options than ever.  More...

Appreciating Washington, D.C.'s "underground" attractions

Category: Destinations | Hotels | SightseeingJanet @ 08:35

One thing I love about Washington, D.C. is how connected everything is. That is largely thanks to the wonderful public transportation system, anchored by the Metro subways, trains and buses. If I lived there, you couldn’t pay me enough to sit in the car traffic on the "second" floor, so the underground Metro is a real bonus. More...
